Meet the “Texas Ten”, 10 greyhounds who are now looking forward to a future full of hope and happiness as beloved pets. The “Texas Ten” came to GAC from deplorable conditions at an unregulated pet blood bank in Texas. These special 10 hounds were selected for GAC because the rescue team determined they could make the long journey to San Diego. We had fun naming them after small towns in California representing that they have left behind Texas and are looking forward to new lives in the Golden State. We are excited to welcome these new greyhounds and have already begun to see their personalities emerge. GAC’s annual membership campaign makes rescues like the Texas Ten possible. Please consider membership.
