UPDATE: Tall, handsome Legolas (left) spent the past six months as a proud GAC Sponsor Dog. Now he is now living large in Santa Maria, CA. “Legs” recently shared a great day at Pismo Beach with his new brother Elvis (GAC’s Ferdinand adopted in May 2014) and a couple of his humans. GAC has three new Sponsor Dogs joining Chique this month thanks to a wave of adoptions. Pretty Chique is very sweet with all the GAC volunteers. After a year at GAC, she still likes to be the center of attention. This girl lets everyone know she’s in charge so when the right folks come along, they will get a lovely, affectionate, bright girl and loyal companion.

Three-year-old Bulova charms her way through any situation. This delightful girl wins hearts every time she goes out for a stroll with volunteers.  The perfect family will be expected to deliver a steady stream of hugs since Ms. Bulova relishes the attention!

This brave two-year old boy is still recovering from major surgery to fix a compound fracture in his back leg. Handsome Skylar hasn’t quite healed, requiring more limited activity. But you would never know he was injured based on his sweet disposition. He squeals with delight when he sees the vet tech! Soon we’ll have the perfect home for this stunning boy.

On his first visit to a Starbucks, Crumple was completely at ease, sniffing around the outdoor patio and enthralled with the nearby parked cars. This muscular boy still needs to get his “sea legs” when traveling by car so there are more outings in his future. Lucky Crumple! He loves people so much his fan base will be expanding.
