Ascari

Ascari has completely forgotten that she is 5 ½ years old – this girl loves to jump high and play with everyone around. A total “people person,” lovely Ascari relishes her time with volunteers and guests alike, leaning in for scratches and pets. Definitely a confident dog (something that comes with racing more than 300 times!), this delightful hound is truly happy to be living free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baton

It is safe to say Baton is the star of the show at Open House — his size, color and Roman nose grab visitors immediately. He is simply one happy boy. Slowly, but surely, Baton is learning to settle down and not get so overly excited. He has been working with special needs students, covering them in so many slobbery kisses that one young woman exclaimed, “I just love this dog and he just loves me!”

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yellowlegs

This exuberant and energetic boy just can’t settle down sometimes because there are too many fun distractions everywhere he turns. He loves being with his kennel buddies and takes the lead when the group goes for a long lake walk. Riding back to the kennel, Yellowlegs must look out the car windows so he doesn’t miss anything exciting!
