Crenshaw
Crenshaw gets regular walks from his kennel fans and he loves being outside. This shy boy is getting more and more used to strangers thanks to so many volunteers willing to spend time with him. He raced 200 times in his career before fracturing his leg last May. He is doing well with his “remodeled” leg, but still a bit shy of the outside world. He will make a wonderful companion!
Popcorn
Popcorn has so many fans because people are simply drawn to this beautiful, quiet greyhound. When this extremely shy girl gets to know you, she just wants to have fun! A recent walk around our canine campus showed she is not at all distracted by goats and birds – but little kids are beyond her comfort level! We are working to bring her out of her greyhound “shell” because a lot folks are interested in bringing her home.
Desperado
Affectionately known as Des, this girl raced an astounding 255 times and managed to retire with no injuries. Part of the “Eagles” group, Des will be five years old this summer and is a lovely girl with a sweet little overbite. She holds her own in a rowdy group of hounds.
Chapati
Chapati is a delight to interact with during his turnouts. He’s happy, responsive and full of life! He really enjoyed checking out the scenery during a recent road trip and loves all the smells around Run Free Field. When he met the neighbor’s geese, goats and pig, Chapati just went on his merry way. He’ll make the right family very happy.
