GAC’s newest star is one of the bravest greyhounds we have ever rescued.
Two-year old Asha came to GAC just before New Year’s Eve of 2015 after breaking both her back legs on the racetrack. CBS News 8 in San Diego visited with her and Dr. Gregory Jackson at the VCA Animal Specialty Group as she prepared for surgery.
This little brindle girl has melted the hearts of everyone she meets. A new GAC crowd-funding effort is attracting dozens of donors who want to help pay for her very expensive surgery and rehab. So far we have raised nearly $7,000! Won’t you help today?
One hundred percent of all funds collected will be applied to Asha’s surgery. Any excess funds will be used to pay medical costs for other greyhounds with special medical needs.
