More than two dozen GAC hounds and their family members wowed the crowds at the Big Hat Days festivities in Clovis, Calif. over the weekend of April 11th and 12th. With the help of 31 GAC volunteers, the dogs met an adoring public who were part of the 125,000 people gathered for the craft fair that is the largest two-day event in Central California.
Smiling volunteers staffed the GAC table for three-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, always making sure three to six greys were front and center so they could interact with children and adults. The hounds basked in all the attention, taking rests inside a nearby x-pen before returning to the front lines to work the crowd.
