Skylar greets the crowd at a La Jolla home
GAC’s Skylar was the guest of honor at a La Jolla fundraiser last month.
This pretty 2 ½-year old boy was rescued just six months ago after severely breaking his leg on the racetrack. Now fully recovered and waiting for his forever home, Skylar wasted no time being a regular dog at the party – nibbling on appetizers and taking a sip of Chardonnay when he thought no one was looking!
Guests thumbed through GAC items on display
Some 40 guests listened to GAC founder and president, Darren Rigg, discuss our rescue and placement operations, donated gifts were auctioned off and many checks were collected. GAC raised more than $2,000 at this weekend gathering organized by volunteer Mary Flesner. Thank you, Mary!
