The Greyhound Adoption Center’s new rescue van debuted to an enthusiastic crowd at the April 19th Open House. Some 65 people turned out to meet the hounds and visit the new Ram Promaster window van that was purchased with a grant from the ASPCA and donations from supporters.
Festooned with adorable GAC-rescued greyhounds, the van will allow us to safely rescue more dogs from across the country and attend numerous adoption events. The brightly colored van “wrap” is a proven attention getter, causing pedestrians to stop and stare last week when the van transported dogs to a vet appointment.
GAC relies on supporters to keep our rescue operations going seven days a week. You can help us bring more hounds to their forever homes by donating today.
The crowds at the Open House were treated to give aways and extra attention from some very friendly dogs. Click here to see more photos and mark your calendars for May 17th – our next Open House!
